| Karaoke was originally designed to provide backing tracks for cabaret performers. Any standard TV can be connected to a karaoke machine. The American Karaoke Society offers free membership! A person who provides the Karaoke experience in bars, businesses, or parties is called a Karaoke Jockey, or a KJ. Karaoke players are available in two styles: component style and portable. The original artist or studio never produces Karaoke CDs. Some karaoke CDs are offered with just the song's background music, while others offer the lead vocals for accompaniment. Some karaoke players have additional aspects such as echo control and multiple microphone outlets. |
